I liked Lost until the last season. From then on it just became a little too science fiction'ish to me and the secrets that were revealed weren't really thought through compared to the rest of the show.
Infact, I didn't like the whole Jacob and guy-in-black part of the plot. That's what ruined it the most for me.

When I first heard this I was all like "WHAT???? None of that stuff happened!!" But then when I watched futher into the season I soon found out that they lied

@TaraAisling sawyer was originally gonna get off the island but the helicopter was about to crash so they needed to get rid of any unnecessary weight so sawyer bravely jumped of the chopper and swam back to the island.

they said that so nobody else would see or tell so they made up that story

yes, they lied to protect them since bad people were trying to get to the island, they lied about being on the island and other survivors

Wo you gave your self a major spoiler, all I'll say is the Oceanic 6 and two other people you don't know yet were seperated fro m everyone else on the island and don't know what happened to them, so they lied to protect them.
