Please don't compare Korea with China. Until the 20th century Korea had never successfully conquered another land, had never exerted any political or cultural influence over another country, and was never even a factor in world affairs. China, on the other hand, conquered vast territories and spread it's cultural and political influence far into the world. Korea, Japan, and Vietnam, the other countries of the sinosphere, are mere offshoots of the ONLY great Asian civilization.

Also, Goryu(several hundred years later after the Goguryu has been destroyed, recovered most of the its former Goguryu's under the faith to recover the glory as a descendants of Goguryu. Goryu was formed under the lands of Shinra which was korea's territory. Basically it means, Goguryu and Goryu is korea's history, not chinese.
