@MrTelegony Half-Caste is the original ter, since its European, American terms are hybred just like its people. Mixed-Race Biracial its all the same thing.

Interesting observation. I am also now watching Katie. As soon as ABC changed, I changed to CBS.

Has anyone else noticed how professional Katie Couric is? Almost oblivious to political bias? Pro Obama or negative, however the chips may fall? I think CBS is loosening up a bit and its liberal culture is either moderating or their commitment to pure journalism is beginning to show. Whatever is going on I now watch her instead of ABC and NBC.

Would like to see more, as Doug's commentaries always add so much value, causing me to think. I always see such short glimpses of Doug--where can I find the rest of this commentary? More!!

I always love listening to Doug...so wise!

Doug is so keenly aware of the historical importance of events. Wish the major networks also appreciated his "voice" on these matters.

Obama is struggling now.
-
Many now believe that he squandered that great moment by a very partisan, raid the treasury, stimulus plan that rewarded unions and other specific constituencies while not addressing the need for jobs. It is a little scary.

No one can match Kennedy's inauguration speech and the moment of hope. But Caroline Kennedy is right, this is as close as we have gotten.

too short, left me wanting more
I wish I saw more of Doug Wead on the major networks. His analysis is unbiased unlike most commentators. He is a true expert on his subject and not just another talking head. Is there more of this interview?

I enjoyed Doug Wead's comments. He has a thorough grasp of the facts and is honest regardless of any politics involved. I appreciate the way he finds good in everyone regardless of party.
