The new Delta, designed by the Lancia Style Centre, combines the traditional elegance of a Lancia sports car with the interior of a saloon for the first time, with a wheelbase of 2.7 metres. The Lancia Delta offers more than 1000 customized combinations and will feature two new engines, a 165 bhp 2.0 Multijet and a 190 bhp Twin Turbo Multijet, as well as a 200 bhp 1.8 Di Turbojet. The launch of the car is planned for mid-2008. Available video includes driving footage as well as exterior and interior studio shots.

Why do Lancia insist on making old man's cars aimed at young people. A big chrome grill shouts out "OLD MAN AT THE WHEEL!". It also reaks of the 90s when chrome made an appearance as the fifties were cool again. That was ten years ago. Now matte is the in thing as in the 1 million Lambo, and shiny things are so yesterday. Yet Lancia insist. No wonder they don't sell these cars outside of a few countries. One last thing...whoever is in charge of designing the rear of Lancias..fire him.
