  • @dukebili Dont worry about loosing a cast,it will happen many times for various reasons, especially when your just learning. You dont learn if you dont make mistakes. It can be a rewarding hobby, fun and frustration. You can try to eliminate as much of the frustration part as possible.#1 create/buy a reliable furnace. You could probably use compressed air,but i find the hairdryer easy, and works well at the flick of a switch(got the acdc thing goin on). Go propane(lpg),nursing a coal fire takes up time

  • thanks for your video I'm just learning how to do this. do you need the blow dryer and the propane to melt I have been useing a charcoal foundry and I am thinking of going to propane because I lost a cast due to running out of fuel

  • @edj66 they do seem uprated on the dag aspect, but r quite protective, except for the soles :P

  • @edj66 Hahahahaha :P my next vid is me doing a multi pour, wearing thongs/flipflops/sandals?.. JKS

  • Haha, Uggboots for foundry work? Nice.
