"Devil in Disguise" arranged by Dirk Raulf, interpreted by Inga Lühning (vocals), Dirk Raulf (baritone sax), Matthias Muche (trombone) and Ralph Beerkircher (guitar). Broadcasted live by WDR Cologne during "WDR Literaturmarathon 2007" on march 17, 2007, as part of the annual literature festival litCOLOGNE.
Raulf's project "Jazz from Hell" was a commission for this event. The theme of all the readings during the 24 hour "Literaturmarathon" was "Unterwelten" (i. e. "underworlds"), and one of the topics was "hell". Raulf chose and arranged a series of songs about hell, satan, devil, evil etc., mostly from the pop/rock-genre, and transformed them to be played by a classical cool jazz line-up.
