isn't this song called "halling jåron" on their album "vedergällningen"? i think "euchari" is quite a different song... or maybe i'm confused?

You're confused, I'm afraid. :-) This is indeed the song "Euchari" from the album "Hildegard Von Bingen". Hildegard was a famous German abbess (and later saint) who lived in medieval times. This song (as are all songs of this album, I think) is based on a melody she composed. In this case in honor of Saint Eucharius, who was the first bishop of Treves and who is said to have protected the city from an epidemic of pestilence.

I'm afraid you're both confused. :-) This is indeed the song "Euchari" from "Vedergällningen", which is loosely based on the song "Euchari" from the album "Hildegard Von Bingen". Yes, two different songs with the sametitle from two different albums. The one from "Bingen" is entirely in Latin, and far less catchy. "Halling Jåron" is the song after "Euchari" on "Vedergällningen" ("Vengeance" in English), about a stupid girl who goes to bed with every boy.

Thank you for posting this video, I love it. I don't understand the language, but like German for me, I find this one really beautiful too. The band is great, if it wasn't for these videos, I wouldn't had become so suddenly obsessed with them! XD Now I know a new cool band! ^^ So, thanks!
