this is easily enough check by the credits perhaps but isn't the guy who ropes Crawford back into the stuff at the end the same guy who plays the producer near the end of La Dolce Vita at that famous party, he comes into his own house, window broken, is handed a plate of spaghetti, etc a minor point but this is a very rich film, up there with almost any of his best
