A PAD protest that was stopped by several hundred police in their march to Government House in Bangkok at the Makhawan Bridge continues it's vigil against a revision of the Thai Constitution, and the present government. One elderly gentleman at about 4min 40 seconds fairly well sums up the frustrations felt by people of many countries, including my own, in that it is difficult to affect change no matter who controls the reigns of power. But in any case the attempt must be made. I'm proud of the people that try. The ride to the Protest was interesting as the taxi driver that picked me up originally came from Korat, which is a pro Thaksin area. He at first said that he had no idea where the Makhawan Bridge was located even though he admitted to having been a taxi driver for years. Most of the taxi drivers are pro Thaksin it seems! Anyway with a bit of joking and after he asked me who I preferred Thaksin or Khun Sondhi, I replied I like pictures, he smiled and delivered me close to the bridge, but right in the middle a large contingent of police.

  • The court declared that the govt party are guilty! They're dissolved now!

One problem still remain, they'll keep coming back by cheating and the cycle starts all over again.

  • did u see the news about the pantamit (PAD) seized the international airport? what do u think? sir

  • It's their rights to have the protest, but should also concern that they're ruining their own country in the other way around, too.

Nowadays, more and more people are getting anoyed about it. They cause too much, sometimes other Thai people think, it's better that they (Pantamit) stop helping others then. SO we all can be in peace again..

  • What do you expect? pantamits are also humans, not robots. They have emotions and feelings. Most of the times they talk politely but sometimes informality is heard because of human emotions. Besides, this would help audiences not get bored. For human beings to protest day and night for almost half a year now, it is impossible for them to not say a single bad word.

FOREVER405 i observe that most of your comments are just your little observations of unimportant things. Don't debate this way.

  • No, I don't think so.

  • wut the fuck are you talking about? taksin has taken so much tax money on thai ppl and used it for his acts of corruption.

  • The Pantamit is a bunch of loser people who jealous and hate Taksin. Have u known that Taksin fight against drug dealers, u know people do illegal things.

  • No, you don't understand man. Taksin is already rich before he became the PM of Thailand he help develope the country and pay off every debt Thailand has.

  • I watch ASTV ( Pantamit TV) every day. Every one of the Pantamit guys is cursing and swearing, they use very impolite language every time they speak on the stage. Because you can not understand Thai and you don't know much about them. Sotin is crazy.

  • Why would he be corrupt? Well isn't that the way he became rich? As for the Gong Tup Dhamma, they are gueitly sitting in support of people they know to be trying to save their country. I believe when you become a Monk you are not allowed to vote however they are still Thai, so they do have a right to be interested.
