This is a relatively easy balloon flower design. I've been using it for years, it takes almost no time to make, and people are always impressed with them. It is certainly not the easiest flower, but it's not one of the more complicated flower designs either. A good middle of the ground twist for you to enjoy.
With Valentines day coming up, I thought I might focus on some designs that might see some use during the holiday.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, or requests for instructions on how to make something, please make them in the comment box.

  • Not everyone can mouth inflate. It takes practice, and doing the spiral takes a lot more power than just blowing up the balloon.

I've seen many talented twisters use hand or floor pumps for the spiral with great results.

A friend of mine uses an old hair straightener... it works great for her.

  • NICE!!! I'm going to use this design now!! I like the size and they don't pop like the other six petal one balloon design. Thanks for posting.

  • Nice flower. I can't mouth inflate but I use a strong cardboard tube and a clothes peg to spiral the balloons and it seems to work quite well.

    Cheers.

  • Really cool, man. Good job.
