Sunset Magazine's Briar Rose honey bee hive is tested with a cellphone on the landing board. In response to articles about cellphone/bee/CCD (colony collapse disorder), we've shown that bees don't like cellphones, just as you'd expect they wouldn't like any electronic device. It's not natural and they don't like it, but that doesn't mean cellphones are killing bees or causing CCD.

@rosskay Hi, ross! A friend gave me a link to an article in Yahoo News, which had a link to the PDF file, but in a non-saveable format (Google docs...naturally, they want to protect the content THEY'VE worked so hard to STEAL!) A quick search took me to Scribd (a site I LOVE, since it's FREE) and signed up, then made a quick download of it there. I'll shoot you a link to the Yahoo News Article and upload the PDF to you through a file service...watch your inbox...

@TheMercilessEye just got this form your link... I'm glad too! i had some suspicions about a specific pocket area in the neighborhood I live in, including everyone on this particular side of hte building getting cancer, people's pets too, at the same times of certain years.

WOW. Best experiment EVER. My mind is blown. Nice work recreating it. I think your results have affirmed the research. ;-)
