im not happy about the series getting rebooted the first 1986 movie was really good why redo it. also what are your thoughts on the new videogame that is supposed to come out

@SPAKman619 i can understand your feelings about the reboot. with all the sequel and spinoffs the canon of Highlander has been raped bad. but i think the TV series is excellent and one of the greatest things Highlander ever produced. as for the video game..there isn't much to say. it was meant to come out around the same time as the Source and then it vanished. if done right i think a HL video game could be great.

To be fair, the coninuity of Highlander has been botched up so if you want to continue the franchise but also fix things, you got to start all over.

I also understand your feelings. I mean, don't get me wrong, Immortals as aliens? What were they thinking?!

Still, I'd recommend that you do see it, and be open about it. Try not to put in the scope of the show, but rather, see it just as the only sequel HL1 that doesn't ignore that Connor MacLeod was, well, the One.

I guess that works. as i said i understand WHY the film went down the crapper now. so i don't really hold a grudge against it anymore. i can't say ive seen the 2004 re-release so i can't comment. ill consider giving it a look.

The 2004 Special Edition DVD of HL2 is a vast improvement. It even changes the color of the shield to blue (the original intention was such, but things happened and went out of control etc.). And Immortals are not aliens anymore.

And Connor was able to bring back Ramirez, because:

A) They had bonded with that strange magic liquid thingy, and

B) Connor, after defeating the second henchman, won the Prize the SECOND time, thus was able to direct the Prize to bringing back Ramirez.

thanks! i have a to do list on my page but computer problems have put a halt on all projects indefinitely. its been a constant problem but now there is little i can do. i hope to continue at some point though
