  • Esca: Since you do a lot of school clubs etc, you must get orders for small runs. What are the minimum runs that you'll generally do?

  • @axolszewski 24 is our minimum, but you must keep in mind that many shops run different minimums for different reasons. A shop of 50-100 employees that needs to run 24/7 will probably have a high minimum, while a shop out of someone's garage will take any job they can get. As a business owner, YOU need to decide what's best for YOU.

  • hey man god info i was just wondering where can u get the materials? in which stores do they sell them? thank u

  • @manfrestyle07 You need to check with your local area. Screen Printing isn't something you're going to find at your local craft store--- well, not "professional" printing anyway. If you can't find resources locally, check out sites like ryonet.com

  • Do you need permission to start in the garage?

  • @esecocho100 It depends on your local government. You need to check with them. :)

  • awesome video Esca! I am starting my 3 color press... out of sqare tubing, angle iron, wood, and a lazy susan. under 200 dollar budget!

  • One more question, what kind of heater do you use?

  • @axolszewski It was a package deal on a brand new press, accessories and dryers. Ran about $30k

  • @RebelChildRs Honestly, the "best" way is probably a small room/closet with an air filter in it. You don't want dust/particles in the air ruining your screens. BUT - if you're me- a small heater and movement of air works very well. When I coat my screens, I put them in a cabinet with a heater. They dry in 10 min and are ready to burn.

  • What is the best inexpensive way to dry a screen, after emulsion has been applied?

  • @vaidisuh I like this question, because this is how a lot of people get INTO the industry. I never tried to launch my own line. The problem with starting your own clothing line is the overall investment. You need to purchase the clothing, invest time/equipment into the printing, and THEN work on selling the shirts. IF you sell the shirts, hopefully you'll make your money back. You need to be a very social, outgoing salesman to start a clothing line. It's a tough biz.

  • Great vid man! whats you website anyways?
