Showing how I flat iron my mom's hair. With a simple twist of the wrist, the hair looks feathered/layered.

She was 2 weeks post relaxer.
We only flat iron once every 2 months

  • @tonifam99- Thanks Toni! I use an FHI. It cost me about $75 but it's VERY good!

  • Hello... Nice video and her hair came out great!! I love it!! ;-)I'm going to try it... My ?? is was her hair cut into layers to achieve this look?thanks

  • @tonifam99- Hi Toni and thanks! Her hair isn't cut in layers. It just falls like that because of how I do it. Very neat effect!

  • so i have a question i just flat ironed my hair like this (i loveee it btw, i usually just flat iron w/a little bump at the end n it looks so plain lol) how do you preserve it? when you wrap it does it hold the curl? help meeeee :( lol

  • @1mixed1- LoL, yes. It holds very well the next day after wrapping. It'll have a nice flow to it:)

  • @brownbeauty44- Sally mayonnaise??? LoL, I just used Silk Elements in that video but I use the Queen Helene the same way. And happy new year to you too!

  • happy new year, could you please show us how you deep condition with queen helen coz it says add water to form lather which i don't get so show us because the video you have is a sally mayonnaise.thanks in advance.

  • @mslazelle- Thanks MsLazelle! Love ya too, mama! And you're right! It takes some time but it definitely pays off!

  • @trili69- Same to you, Trili! We mostly do braidouts or keep it pulled back in a ponytail or a bun. My hair with so much new growth is too "big" to where straight so I only wear it straight when I flat iron which is every 2 months.
