Vertex Illumina SR 1200 LED Demo

48" Vertex Illumina SR1200 LED Reef Aquarium Light features 8 LED pods running Phillips 3 Watt Luxeon Rebel LEDs, 8 x 7500k White 105 lm/W, 4 x 470nm Blue and 4 x 450nm Royal Blue driven at 2.5 Watts to increase diode life to 60,000 hours at 120C operating temperature.
Each pod has a maximum output of 40 Watts for a total of 320 Watts. All LED pods communicate with the controller and each other over ZigBee IEEE 811.15.4 wireless protocol.

very interesting, I love the interchanging lights, but I do have to agree it looks a little artificial. Still nifty, would be good to have a little less blue to give a more natural feel.

very nice led system, i only wish they were more affordable. untill i find some decently priced led systems im sticking to t5 and halides

the led lights will last 10 times as long as metal halide or t5, that's why even at a higher initial cost you won't have to replace bulbs every year (very expensive)
