Water starter ALL DAY ERRY DAY!! I'm just glad that Froakie looks nothing like Palpitoad. Creepiest Pokemon I've seen. But I'm also liking that you can customize your trainer and THEY USE ROLLERBLADES. Great new addition. Now I can bump into the sides of doors using rollerblades which I don't know if it'll make my character look dumber than if it were on a bicycle... =_=

Okay, that thought in mind, I officially know who my starter's gonna be this time around.

...Then again, it'd be interesting seeing Froakie's fully evolved form, some kind of a storm frog a la Wind Waker...

...Meanwhile they gotta give Chespin something to compete with, and they did manage to make even Chimchar awesome by it's second evolution...

...This thought train helped nothing. I'm still restarting the game three times and getting everybody.

Unless they have vastly improved the combat or the world design/added some dungeons or real exploration, I think I'm spent on the series, personally. I don't think I really want to slog through another easy, empty campaign with that same 80s battle engine again.

There's charm in old school, I still love Dragon Quest, but I find it so hard to want to deal with Pokemon anymore.
