Off World Interceptor Extreme Full Motion Video Sequences Part 1

Here is part 1 of a video showoff of the Video sequences in the game Off World Interceptor Extreme. These are taken from the Sega Saturn version.


Off World Interceptor Extreme isn't exactly the greatest game out here. In fact, most would say it downright sucks. I find it to be mildly entertaining, but it's still not that good. It's extremely repetitive.

The highlight of the game however is the MST3K rip off video sequences where two shadowy figures make fun of the FMV sequences. You've gotta wonder if that was their intent all along, or if they decided to get it after seeing the cheesy acting in the sequences.

I used a Video Capture card to capture the video.

@mrhunam On the contrary, I think its pretty awesome that the publishers hired someone to make these cutscenes and then decided that it was so cheesy that they'd make fun of them in their own game MST3K style.

The Playstation version was censored. They beeped out any bad language (i.e. shit, bastard, and POOPER).

i used to dig this game alot, i even remember the first car you got was the Vindicator 32000. Being a big MST3K fan at the time i was psyched about the way they set this up. I'm surprised they were able to get away with so many pop culture and product refrences.
