You are doing great! it helps me to do a complete roll(driving your paralell paddle downward to your left {if your right handed} then once all the way upside down immediately performing the sweep roll. After all in the actual scenario of turning over in a whitewater situation you want to return to the upright position as quickly as possible. Pausing is good at first to get the process down now make it one smooth action. : ) Have you had lessons or are yous self taught?
