Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H_YfS4vV_A

I had promised some people a while back that I'd make a tab of this song, and I felt bad that I hadn't made anything yet. So I figured, for the time being, I could make this little mini-lesson of the two main parts of the song (the main riff and the chorus chord). I do wanna make a full tab eventually (I still haven't seen a correct tab of this anywhere).

BTW, I had a cold when I recorded this (sorry for the mumbling or w/e).

Tuning: half-step down.

  • You are pretty damn good. Thank you for taking the time to make the videos. Perhaps you can teach us how to play "Mother Earth" (by G. Mule) and "Stormy Monday" by the Allman Brothers.

  • @duydle Hey, thanks! Those are both GREAT songs. I'd love to get around to them, but it's all a matter of there being enough time.

  • are you tuned down or something because when I try and play along I am playing what sounds correct one fret lower. It would be easier if you told us before the lesson what kind of tuning you were using then give us your Low E and high E strings so we can tune to you. Or you can say that you using an open tuning of X, here are each of the strings so you listen and tune to it... great job. Would like to see you show the notes a bit slower though, for me your sort of rushing along.

  • Yea, it's in half-step down tuning (Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb)

  • One of the greatest riffs ever well played!

That's an awesome tone, what amp you using?

    Cheers

  • I was using a Johnson JM120 amp on a higher gain setting. Thanks!
