Allahu akbar right on

The "Dale" guy who criticized him, telling him not to be a "Jane Fonda" (which incidentally was not me. Despite my user name, my real name is not "Dale"), what a tool! He wasn't going there and bashing the U.S., playing muslim sympathizer, he was doing what he always does: people & culture.

Rick,
That was a very honest and nice video that you have made. You did it just perfect. Now i am happy that people can have a chance to watch some thing about REAL IRAN nad not the things that they watchon news!
I am looking foreward to see and hear more of your shootings in my country.
As you said:"Peace upon us".

awesome work from rick steves

I think it is very disloyal from Rick Steve to interact with all these terrorists.
LOL, jk.
I like that he said indirectly how CNN and BBC spread propaganda, and false information about Iran.
I think he did a very good job, although just ten days is not enough to show Iran. I wish he went underground in Iran, to show all the underground clubs, partys, and everything else that the world think does not exist in Iran.

I suggest Mr Steve to make some research about the misery of drug addiction, un-employment, and prostitution under the chador that exist in Iran. Persian people live under horror of arabic and Islamic dictatorship.
Just search for videos under topic Iran Women in Youtube and you can see the abuse of Iranian women.

Islam brought as much benefit to Iran as pest and cholera. I am surprise to hear that Mr Steve is actually defending the dictatorship in Iran.
The revolution in Iran was not about the values. It was about the oil and communist. Shah controlled the OPEC, arabs and oil prices and at the same time Irans relationship to eastern block made USA nervous. Surprisingly he accepts the mini-skirt in Istanbul where they are even more religious.
Well-done Rick!
You did a good job man. People all around the world needs to know more about Iran through documentaries like this.

i am very pleased that Rick dares to have an open mind and reject ethnocentrism and prejudice. His attempt to invite cultural understanding between east and west goes a long way to rejecting the war-mongering mentality. I'm embarrassed by all the narrow minded responses but not surprised.
