My dear friends!
Because of the growing numbers of visitors from my my former homeland i decided to do another reading of one of my stories in the language it once was written.
The Masque of the Red Death was written in the year 1842 and tells the story of Prince Prospero who left his people alone when the Red Death devasteted his country long ago. He took a thousand of his friends and fellowmen and hided in a old castellated abbey, not caring for his people any longer. Believing being secured he did not wonder what was going on outside the walls until one day he gave a magnificent masked ball ... but this you might hear for yourself...

Please note: since my rebirth i do live in Germany and although i love the english language very much i have forgotten much in the long years laying in my tomb. So please be patient if you find anything ill pronounced. I well know there is a lot to learn again...
Please allow me to express my hope this reading may entertain you well nevertheless.
With my kindest regards always your servant
Edgar Allan Poe

I feel deeply honmored in the name of my former existence, my dear friend! But the early death of myself a hundredandsixty years ago is not the end. I have written two stories (in german) this year following the footsteps of the master of mystery. Because of the unexpected success of these stories i will translate them to the english language next year. It would be a pleasure to me if these could also entertain you well.

    Your faithful servant
