Wes Carr - You Live @ Take 40 Live Lounge

Wes Carr performs the first song of the night, and his first single/ Australian Idol Winners Single, The #1 Song, "You", live with his band at the Take 40 Lie Lounge on May 11 2009.
This was a great way to start off the night with most of the crowd singing along---luckily the ones who were singing along were on the other side of the room!! lol i hate when you film at a concert and all you hear is the person next to you singing along...
haha
it was a really great night with wes revving up the crowd the whole night through - even performed 'The Letter' when they were having technical issues so that the audience wouldn't get bored!! AND played Fearless 3 times because every time he performed it they told him he danced too much and try to stay more centre stage... he knows how to work a crowd thats for sure!!!
Really great live and his band are all as entertaining , including Gerard Masters- Keyboards, bass and backing vocals (the gerard masters trio is a very successful jazz ensemble and he has released his first solo EP, SPIN, this year -really cool you have to check him out!)
Also Simon Rudston Brown, of the falls, on Lead Guitar and backing vocals.
Stu Hunter- Organ and backing vocals.
And Mick Skelton on Drums - this man can beat the hell out of his drum kit and keep a drum solo going on for ages and it never sounded dull!!

If ever you have the chance to see him live you really need to - he's on tour at the moment with Ian Moss as the support act playing all around the county!
