Beyond her poor judgment in bringing up the assassination of Robert Kennedy, Senator Clinton's explaining her refusal to end her campaign by saying "the primary process often runs into June" is just plain misleading. Here's why.
She should be happy now if she's able to get Senate Majority Leader. And that's a job she might actually be good at. Now get your hands off me, you damned dirty ape.
Exactly, only a "regret" if the Kennedy's were offended, because they could still mess up her campaign. Not a word to Obama or the rest of us. But again, I don't care how many crass the answer was, I'm focussed on that it was just inaccurate and misleading. Thanks for the comment.
I can't find anything on Gary Coleman running. He seems to make a go for the presidency every time. I think she's losing it a bit, bringing up that. The only thing I remember about 1968 is that the first movie I ever saw in a theatre was Planet of the Apes. I'm really relieved that Obama will get the nomination. I was for Hillary, but I think a lot of it was nostalgia. I do not think she she should be considered a Vice-prez. That should be done with.
Ya, the word "apology" was never mentioned. Her concern was offense taken by the families involved, she doesn't care that the common man was offended. She and F#ckupabee should get together.
Her comment was in response to a question of why she has remained in the campaign, not to a question about the length of the process. Her answer to why she was still in it was to spin it into a question about why it was taking so long, and she misled the listener by comparing June of this year to previous Junes - when, as explained above - there is no comparison because the primaries started so much earlier this year.
a) RFK didn't win the nomination; he won the California primary giving him a chance at the nomination. - But more to the point:
b) The primary process started much earlier this year, by a couple of months. Her comparison of June 2008 to June of previous years is misleading, and she's quite aware of that.
Yes, "off the mark" in terms of it having any relation to her situation today. Remember, although RKF won the California primary that day, he was still #2 in overall delegates, the situation she's in now, and - more to the point I was making - the primary season started much earlier this year, making her "June is not unusual" comments misleading and, yes, off the mark.
