  • question: why do you teach with tabs instead of standard music notation? i understand that tabs are easier to read and that these lessons are for everyone, but tabs don't exactly help you with coming to understand the fretboard more, it just.. shows you where to put your fingers. i'm just curious, don't mean to condescend or anything.

  • @schnisha95 Well, there are a few reasons: One, tab is more accessible than music notation. Two, everyone can read tabs, while not everyone can read music. Three, not everyone wants to be an expert musician, most people just want to play for fun. And four, it's really hard to learn notes on the guitar, because you have the same notes at different places on the guitar, so that makes reading notation harder for guitar than for other instruments. Hopes this answers your question. :)

  • can you please make a video, which explains how it is to play?

    P.S. sorry for bad english/

  • @b0ss09326 Don't worry, the lesson will be up in a few hours

  • Does anyone know the name of the ringtone that starts at 0:42?

  • @cmoneypieces It's OK. I understand where you came from with what you said, and I personally give you my word that there are plenty of advanced lessons still to be filmed and uploaded. I just realize that most people who watch my lessons are beginners or intermediates, and so I try to make lessons for everyone across the spectrum. There is a lot I intend to teach in this channel, both simple and complicated material. This is just the beginning. I promise you.

  • @LickNRiff You're right. I didn't mean to judge. Just looking for something a little more. I really liked the Jiffy Jam lesson and stuff like that. That's why I subbed in the first place. Anyway, thanks for putting up the vids and spending time on it. Some of us would look forward to more complicated arrangements as well. The last few videos that have been posted are easy stuff you should be able to play by ear is all I'm saying. I apologize for sounding like a jerk.

  • nicely done!

  • Nice man!!!!!

  • @LickNRiff cool :D :D

  • @VivaLaDio Don't worry, I'm editing the lesson as we speak
