This tribute salutes WAKY Radio's John W. "Dude" Walker. (He was a WAKY DJ between 1968 and 1973.) Legendary WAKY air personalities Johnny Randolph, Jason O'Brian, Mason Lee Dixon, Gary Burbank and Coyote Calhoun salute their former co-worker at the 2006 WAKY-WKLO Reunion in Louisville, Kentucky. The video features classic photos and airchecks from 79WAKY.com, the official WAKY tribute Website. The video was created by Kevin Bratcher and the Louisville Sun newspapers, and produced by John Quincy and 79WAKY.com.

GT1kidd,,your life must be one living hell. You OBVIOUSLY don't know a damn thing about FM liscences,,or changing call letters,,or common sense for that matter. The fact that a few of these veteran jocks and radio station owners "John Aspenlighter)" have taken it upon thierselves to re-build these call letters and preserve "some" form of American AM radio heritge, speaks volumes about how they feel about our values and lost culture that we once had. I Was THERE,I REMEMBER THE WAY IT WAS!!

I remember Dude when he wason 68 WRKO Boston back in 76-77. I listinged to him daily, and was one of the driving forces that lead me to a 20 year radio career. One of the true professionals in Boss Radio. My hat off to you.
