Now it's time for a bit of the slightly-old-skool. Off their 1994 album "Far Beyond Driven".

Just my Fender Standard Strat (tuned to "standard D": DGCFAD) through a Line6 Pocket POD (set to "Kill").

  • You are away the pantera hated nu metal and the screamo sort right?

  • @arsenalkid47 Yes, I am aware. I was being ironic.

  • why is it a "NuMetal Version"?

  • @ramsoVV NuMetal and Screamo typically would play dissonant notes, e.g. playing the open high E string and playing the B string at the 5th fret, bending it up slightly.

  • Wow! This is a departure from anything I've seen you do in a while. I like it -- a lot!

  • Thanks, Myra! lol Remember...I've always been a "metal head".

  • AVE!someone! \m/

  • Oh, and sick cover :)

  • @ThomasMetal75 And yes I'd like to clarify I'm aware that this song is on Far Beyond Driven. Was just bringing up a point.

  • @ThomasMetal75 Am I the only one that realizes that the whole album "Vulgar Display of Power" was Nu Metal? Everybody is retarded. OMFGNUMETALSUCKS, it's like a trend to hate it.

  • @Musicosm Pantera invented Nu Metal on Vulgar Display of Power, so I guess they hated themselves

  • Pantera+ NuMetal=worst idea since Limp Bizkit!
