Simplesmente incrível, dava para ver de longe que Mansel tinha um caro muito melhor, estava quase passando por cima, mas só um gênio como Senna para não dar a menor chance dele passar

@chrismarkbicknell I tend to agree. With the difference that almost every halfway talented driver would have managed it to keep the quickest car behind him. At Monaco, there is only one chance to pass another car - between the exit of the tunnel and the entry of the harbor chicane. And if the driver is halfway talented, he concentrates on the corner before (Portier), and then you may study the rear wing of the car in front of you for 83 laps. Anyway, great driving of both Senna and Mansell. :)

Probably my favourite memory from F1 in the 90s. Some people have said things like "this proves how shit Mansell was". I couldn't disagree more strongly. Mansell was a fantastic driver, 1 of my all time faves. What this vid shows is how brilliant Ayrton Senna was. Inferior car, worn tyres? And he still held back that, almost unbeatable, Williams & a rampaging Nigel Mansell. And yes, Senna is also 1 of my all time faves.

Saw Senna's car in the flesh today! Had a tour of McLaren. It's huge. How they fit them around this track at that speed is beyond me. And yes, I touched the steering wheel, yay me :o)
