I Feel Very Urgent About This Film

I started working on film with Michael Kimball in 2008. The first project was a trailer for his novel Dear Everybody. The trailer became a 9 minutes short film. In Dear Everybody there is a shot of Michael's hands pulling the feathers out of a pillow, a visual transcription of a line from the novel: "Heres the reason that I pulled the stitching out of my feather pillow and then pulled all of the feathers out of it too: I thought that I was going to find a bird."
In that shot there was already a blueprint of what would later become our first full length documentary: I WILL SMASH YOU.
