On July 4th 2008 Ted Nugent celebrated Independence Day as only he could with a concert in his home city of Detroit that marked the 6000th live performance of his remarkable career. From the opening that sees the Nuge perform the US National Anthem in front of a military line-up and joined by a girl leaping out of a cake clad in a stars and stripes bikini, the party never stops with Nugent classics and cherished cover versions delighting a huge and enthusiastic crowd. Ted Nugent is unique, a truly larger than life character and a wonderful guitarist. What better way to enjoy Independence Day!

  • @1978latham I know the guy comments thumbs up for Obama on a goddamn Ted Nugent (an obvious republican) song...

  • Stranglehold was a great song...definitenly not teeny bopper. The only teeny bopper music Ted Nugent played was during his time with the damny yankees. And @geezusispan, I'll fill you in on something, Stranglehold was not drug induced at all, because Ted is drug free and always has been. He get's high on life. It was just a great rock and roll guitar song.

  • @daniel2102007 you're a fucking idiot!

  • THUMBS UP FOR OBAMA 2012

  • @geezusispan Stranglehold was never considered teeny bopper music. The worst you could say is that it is a self indulgent, drug induced backdrop for feedback laced guitar solos. Of course, that could be considered a positive comment too. Personally, I think it is rocks pretty hard.

  • Go Uncle Ted!!

  • Nugent is an embarrassment to older people. He's too old to be playin' the crappy teeny bopper music. His stupid red neck rants don't help either.

  • uncle ted for president!!!

  • achery keeps Ted from kill u sheep
