Permission to Cross Post:
47 Pit Bulls were confiscated during drug raids in April and have been
at the animal shelter since then. The county is allowing some of them
to go to rescues instead of euthanizing them!! These dogs were
chained, emaciated, and neglected but NOT used as fighters! These
dogs need rescue/foster commitments ASAP, please!

network of foster volunteers.

you know what, breed specific legislation is like saying that there should be segrigation. is that what you want? apbt dogs are some of the most loyal dogs that ive EVER come in contact with. as for guarding, my dogs are guard dog trained and i dont live in a crack house, nor do i fight my dogs.i will give it to you though.... dog fighters and drug dealers dont need a poodle let alone a pitbull.
if there were bsl in Mi. i would move the hell away, cause in my eyes " BSL" is bigetry luvurapbt

This is why I'm a big advocate of breed specific legislation-it's the only way to keep pit bulls away from thugs and dog fighters who breed them for dog fighting and to guard crack houses - and are susequently abused.
