Yes yes, let's just all whine about how dumbdowned America is because Mike Gravel (who we think is sooo brilliant) can't get elected and never will get elected. But again, that's only because the country isn't as smart as we THINK we are.

A generation of cynics. This is already happening. They lost the House. Obama won't have a second term. Then again, I also thought this would be the case with Bush in 2004. So maybe I'm wrong.
