This Second Coming thing is just utter rubbish, How people buy into it all without questioning is beyond my understanding. "God is patient and doesn't want anyone to perish." Well how utterly absurd. Why after 2000 years is God STILL creating human beings with which to populate the earth, knowing full well that only a tiny number are likely to believe and "repent"? It really is beyond ridiculous.

Can you disprove Gods existence? What comes to mind when you see a house? Do you conclude that it evolved? Obviously not! How much more so the complex program called the genome; or the organization of the celestial bodies in the universe and the precise distance of the earth from the sun which makes life possible? Humans dont even fully understand the brain. If a house had a designer, doesn’t it seem reasonable that more complex systems would have a designer too?

That’s' definitely an understandable feeling especially if that’s been your experience with people. However a true Christian is one who actually strives to imitate Jesus, and of course this would show in that persons actions. What has been your observation of individuals that made you feel the way you do?

Sorry but I have never come across any else but counterfit Christians.

I must partly agree with you. (False) Religion is a hoax. And yes there are atheist's that do know more about the Bible than counterfit Christians.

And just when after 1967 will the drive out the Romans?
-
There no other interpretation it is exactly as it says, "THIS GENERATION" the time and generation when he was supposeed to exsist.
The excuses are rquired because of the problem that he did not return.
The Romans were not driven out and various other claims failed.
Later Church fathers left it in not realising one day wide spread literacy would cause an issue as people picked out all the problems. One Bishop even expressed concern about literacy spreading.
You hit the nail on the head, the "generations" issue has caused much consternation, was it just from the time when the Romans devastated Jeruselum, or does it indeed have another meeting for our day which I do believe however, when that generation starts seems to vary based on interpretation and various world events..hard to really figure out when from a relative time frame, in a few years or is it a hundred years from now

@dmcarden It starts to all seem like insanity sometimes; or makes me feel insane. I decided to ask questions; be open minded and live my life focusing on the message of all religions, LOVE. And that is a big enough focus for us all for each day of the rest of our lives. I'm working on some new topics that might interest you so stay tuned.

Jesus is not coming back, never was I'm afraid. Religion is a Hoax. The power is within you not without. A recent survey found tha Atheists know more of what is in the bible than believers, by a lot. It surprised everyone. As an Atheist myself, I do read a lot and do read the bible to make sure it says what others or I claim. I do find the religious pick good bits, ignor the rest or take it out of its context and change its meaning if they don't like it. Deception of themselves.

I agree with you on some points. I've done some similar research. But I do believe there is an originator whom I choose to call God/Creator/Source from which all else was and is created. Seek and you shall find

Good news Jesus is back again... in Kingaroy Australia.
Yes you know it 30-40 people have joined up already, people are so gulible and wish to believe.
If any of them had acctually read the bible they would know he was coming back 2000 years ago and failed, as so many promises and prophacies have. You need to remember it was a literary work not fact.

@VideoAudioDisco09 I just like to ask a question sometime. I like to see what others are thinking without giving them my opinion. I do think however because I've read the Bible enough that it is a combination of fact; allegory and parallels designed to teach lessons on morality and faith in God. God can never fail; if their is a fault it would likely lie in mans effort to speak for God and or to translate or manipulate what was originally intended.
