Yes, I'm ALIVE! Sorry I haven't posted in a video in 6 months. Windows Movie Maker DIED on my computer so I had to find another way to get videos up and then I saw Brandon (BrandonNichols) use One True Media player to put up a video for our show (which can be found at BroadwayTeens) so I decided to try it.

I saw Sunday in the Park with George on May 24, 2008 at Studio 54 in NYC and I LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!! It moved me to tears and it was just beautiful! Daniel Evans and Jenna Russell are just AMAZING and they should have won the Tonys! Sunday in the Park should have also won for Best Revival too.

I am using the accent I learned from listening to Jenna Russell with a bit of my Yorkshire accent (that's left over from when I played Martha in The Secret Garden). I know I am NO Jenna Russell (or Bernadette Peters, who originally sang the song) so there's no need to remind me.

I worked REALLY hard on this and it took SO many takes that there are some rough spots but eh that's life. It's a REALLY hard song!

I know, the runs are bad. But they are VERY hard so...

you're singing WAY too much through your nose. Also, watch your notes whenever you get into the song a lot. You tend to be very very flat and it clashes. As for your vibrato it's okay but the reason why it's so wobbly is because you are placing it too far back in the soft palate. You need to bring it a little forward onto the edge of the hard palate. This, along with proper use of breath, will help you tremendously.

Lose the accent. Jenna Russel has an accent, Let's hear Katie. it will help round out the vowels and be easier to hit some of those trickier notes.Sondheim is all about story and lyrics. You can handle it vocally(keep working on the breath control)but this song is much more of an acting piece.If you really find intentions in every moment it will make it more interesting.Dot is very revealing herself in this song, and that needs to be the most important thing.nice overall keep working!

I love this play. Seriously. I seen it done by a school at an ITS State Conference and barely anyone from my school liked it. xD I loved it. Haha.
