Our music teacher taught us this back in grade 2 when i was 8, i never forgot this song, it was always so special. this song is so rare on the internet, but it's so good.

I was clearing out the house last weekend, and i came across the lyrics to this song, in an old folder of songs I sang at school when i was 7! I'm 23 now, and didnt remember singing it at all! I'm grateful to you for posting this so i can hear what it sounds like! Thanks!

My elementary school music teacher taught us this song, so I've spent many years with this song in my heart. The version we sang was a bit more somber, but it's still great to find reference to the song later in life. (I may only be 24, but elementary school feels like so long ago!)

Thank you SO MUCH. I've had to sing this song to myself since my grandfather passed. I've never had a real recording of it in almost two decades.
