Tour of Missouri '07 Promo

The Tour of Missouri is patterned after the famous Tour de France of point-to-point, or stage racing. In its first year, the Tour will join the elite ranks of top-international domestic cycling of the Tour of California and Tour de Georgia. The race is much more than a cycling race, however, and brings the pageantry of the race along with a rolling festival to each host start and finish city during the week-long event. I saw the Second to last and the final stages. It was amazing! We (my teammates and I) got autographs and free stuff from a couple different teams. It was awesome.

Yesterday was the first day of the Tour of Missouri 2007. I got to see the start, finish and award ceremony in person on The Plaza in Kansas City. It was almost as exciting as seeing the Tour de France in Paris and much closer to home.
