Before filming the first few minutes of 31, I noticed some gardeners putting out a ton of greens at one house. So I decided to make a separate, special video for that one specific stop. Out of 11 cans, I'd say 7 or 8 of them were full of greens.

Afterward you'll see Ryan on truck 10 picking up a few big bundles of trimmings. Along with a few dump cycles and a full garbage stop. I didn't feel like making a separate video just for my small footage of truck 10.

Not the best greens video, but who cares? :)

Filming date: 19th April, 2011
Filming location: Newport Heights, Newport Beach, CA.
Camera used: Sony DCR-SX40

  • what a pee wee truck no prper lifting

  • @gman2628

These small trucks are meant for the tight alleyways and streets in the city. Before filming this video, they had to back down two dead end alleys that went down a hill. And what do you mean by "no proper lifting"?

I wouldn't mind separate yard waste here. But it saves the city money to use only one truck per each route.

He always has been for years. Since before I first filmed him back in December of 2009.

  • @RainbowDisposal Oh, wow haha so every day of the week he's on one now?

  • @Trashman242

    Thanks.

Ryan is a full time front load driver. It's just been a very long time since I've filmed him on one. lol

Sounds like something that would work, but then it'd require more workers and higher disposal costs.

  • Great work!! At first I was wondering if they had separate collection or something when I just saw the video icon..but this turned out good. How often does Ryan go on FLs? We've never seen him off a RL before right? Ah good old Amrep on residential...the way it all used to be in LA haha thanks for the post! Ending shot was fantastic. You got real lucky there haha

  • @RainbowDisposal That is even more amazing

In the summertime, there's 2 or possibly 3 loads depending on the amount produced. The peninsula is done twice a week in the summer on Mondays and Saturdays.
