This is the Fender Frontman 212r, it is a solid state amplifier. I'm selling this amp because I don't use it anymore. I haven't used it since I bought the Fender Hot Rod DeVille 410 in March.
I'm selling it for 175.00
I'm using a Shure SM57 and an Apex 210 Ribbon mic recorded into Garageband 09 on my iMac 24". The sounds you hear are dry, no EQ at all.

  • Good demo, appreciated! Although in the future, watch the mic placement... not trying to be critical in a negative way, but they're phasing a bit.

  • @fuckingfuckdude Agreed... I literally made this video quick so my friend could see it because he bought this little amp off of me...

  • is this amp loud enough for gigging while still maintaining a clean tone? i apologize if you've already answered this question.

  • @CarbonBandChannel The clean on the amp is alright... it's not tube (or even close too it) but it will maintain it's clean tone at loud levels

  • Hi ! Can you give me all your settings please :) ? Thanks :D !

  • @ArthurEloy I sold this amp a loooooon time ago... sorry

  • @zebas9990 cool.... post a video playing it correctly!

  • @318825768 So it's all about how much stuff costs..

Steve Vai used a Fender Performer (comparable to this amp) to record a few tracks on Alien Love Secrets. And we all know he sucks at guitar...

I know a lot of more expensive amps that don't sound half as good as this thing.

I let my ears be the judge not the price tag.

  • @Fehnhart the day that never comes metallica

  • What's the name of the song from 0:32?

  • what i like about this amp is that, despite it being a cheap solid state, its not trying to imitate any other amp. so the end sound, while still fairly digital sounding, is a lot more "organic" than other amps of its kind. it sounds really good in a live setting. drive i recommend treble 4, mids 7, bass 9, and mid contour ON. reverb is nice too.

  • 1:57 - 2:14 which song are you playing, buddy? Thanks.

  • FUNK 49!!!
