its an intersection on Rt. Michingan (the main street in downtown Ramadi in the Anbar province). The three main intersections are 295, 296 and 342, and are the main areas for ambushes, mostly IED attacks.

Granted, they can't teach you common sense, which was illustrated by your ignorant statement, but you would be amazed at what you will be able/required to do. I'm actually in the process of signing right now. Almost a poolee. I've got a couple friends over there right now though. Hopefully i'll get to go too. I'm not gunna be infantry though. I wanna do something where i can use my head but not be put behind a desk. So i'm thinking combat linguist. I dunno yet though.
