They are a marine snail with out a shell called a nudibranch. Unfortunately we are not certain of the species name.

Are the sea puggles a species of nudibranch? I dislike the fact that for many "instant pets", the real name of the animal is not given, and is replaced by some ridiculous name created by a bored sales manager.
