How to unclog bathtub drains THE BEST way!

I often hear people complain about rising water in their bathtubs and not doing anything about it, or bitching that they have to spend a ton on Drano that doesn't work half the time. I'm here to help with this.

I couldn't hold the camera and remove the screw-on drain stopper at the same time, and those are sometimes a little stubborn to get off. If you're having trouble removing it, there should be other Youtubers that have videos with instructions for it.

This works for most common bathtub hair clogs. If you find you still have an ocean in your bathtub after you've done this, then there may be an object obstructing the flow of water caught deep within the drain trap, which is going to take some handyman work.

I just use the pliers every 3 months and it works just fine, and believe me i have long hair and shed it like a saint bernard.

This is rediculas. The clog is most likely in the p-trap and this will be a waste of time. Dont beleive it

i have a little bit of standing water but im sure my drain looks the same as the one in the video but i cant find an opening to send the zip it down, help!

i just bought a zip it, but my drain doesnt seem to have an opening for the zip to go down, i stuck it in the holes after removing the drain seal but it wont go in

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just watched this video...took me about twenty minutes to go to the store buy this, cost me $2.68 and unstop my tub that had been stopped for weeks. The hair was way down in there and normal methods weren't getting it. But this worked like a charm. The amount of hair in my drain was DISGUSTING. I did have to angle it a couple different ways and kind of force it in but as soon as I got the hang of it, it went all the way down...akin to checking oil in your car.

@MaxTheMann Obviously only someone with a watch that big will always have a long hair problem like that! I don't have a big watch, but I do have long hair and don't wear a watch at all, however, I always use something similar to pull the hair out of my drains!

new bottles of drano come with one of these tools.....that should tell you something.
