This is an older video that I reuploaded as a response to AgApE010's video titled "What is the bible saying? James 2:24".

This video adresses the errors that protestants make in attempting to refute the clear words of James 2:24.

  • Only the weak in understanding scripture... the lukewarm... and those that love the things of this world will be beguiled by the theology behind this video.

Those that belong to Jesus will not be beguiled by these twisted words... No way possible. These words are for those that want this world's offerings and desire to wallow in it's sin!

  • @billyhutchings

Ok, this is not even an argument. You did nto even address any of the points in this video in your comment. My words are for those who want to wallow in sisn? really? If anything, the false doctrine of faith alone is for ppl who want to wallow in sin since it essentially teaches that you can sin all you want and still be saved so long as you have faith in Jesus. Sola fide is a totally evil doctrine and it has been totally refuted

  • @MrCesarquintana23 that is why of the 10,000 protestant churches you have 10,000 different interpretations of the bible. Your not united under one holy church. If you were, then your argument of faith alone might have more substance but it doesnt. Why? because history has taught that when you divide a family or nation, you've created a mass confusion and division which has no strength. Please get yourselves instructed in true teaching about faith and works.

  • @thatonelutheran Hey, after reading this reply of yours I thought it would be great if discuss justification concerning James 2 because I have many things I would like to reply too but I can't in such a short space. So if your allowing me too, can I reply to you through private messaging?

    God bless!

  • James contrasts 2 kinds of faith: 1 is a true faith that saves, such as Abraham had. Since Abraham had this God-given faith, it was evidence by his works. 2 is another kind of faith. It is a simple belief in God, but it does not trust the promise of the forgiveness of sins. The demons have this kind of "faith," which is evidenced by their works.

And James himself clearly explains what he means by "justified,": "Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works."

  • @Gracesaves7772 so can you offer an explanation for James 2:24 I dont think you can. you misunderstand the bible because you can't handle scripture and like Peter said about Pauls letters in 2 Peter 3:16 "He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own damnation."

  • This guy is unsaved and headed for hell. Galatians 2:16. Trying to be justified by the law will send you to hell. Galatians 2:20.

  • James addressed his epistle to the 12 tribes of Israel scattered abroad. Since I am not, nor ever have been a Jew, I disregard his letter.

It's not nice to read other peoples' mail. I'd repent of this dastardly sin.

  • And it is from our free will if we use this grace to have faith and do good works. IF we choose not to act upon this grace given to us to do good works in our lives then our faith is not faith at all but dead faith and it will not save you. That is the meaning of "we are justified by works and not by faith alone" and also "we are justified through grace by faith and not by our works". I am proud to be Catholic!

who ever reads this comment, make sure you read my comment directly before this one.

  • This is good. Yet What protestants do not understand is that the Catholic Church does in fact teach that we are saved through the power of Grace Alone, not by our own power or works BUT it is by this grace that we receive the ability to have faith and also it is through the power of grace that we to make decisions on our own free will to do good works because God gives everyone sufficient grace to do good works and have faith if we desire too.

  • Your doctrine is just that, doctrine, not scripture. You take one verse out of context that contradicts other verses and you base a whole belief off of it. If we could save ourselves then Jesus would not have to have died. Mark10:26 "And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."
