Yes ure right I work at US Postal Service as Ass't Supervisor I always encourage people to buy Forever stamps as much as they can afford becuz it will be same price forever Thank u for explaining people about it

Also, now that I think about it, there is also a risk that you could lose the stamps before you actually decide to use them. This is a "cost" to consider as well.

Before "buying as many as you can afford now" and stashing them for future use, remember to factor in the time value of money! You could be surprised to realize that you may not be saving much, if anything. The true cost of purchasing forever stamps that you plan to use in the future needs to include the opportunity cost of investing that money and gaining interest.

Sure.. it is the same as the new 42 cent stamp now. If you buy forever stamp, it is good any time for a letter. Not need to buy more 1 cent stamps.
