@emeraldzak It was in the newspaper awhile back it's free for current UI students. Staff and community members will have options to buy different types of passes.

I only saw machines in the actual fitness area, i assume there are free weights somewhere? Dumbells, actual plates and some bumper plates etc.?

@emeraldzak - Hi. I'm checking with Rec Services. I'm sure students will have access. What I don't know is whether there will be a fee for students to have that access. I will post when I find out the correct answer.

@emeraldzak Rec Services say the fee to rent a locker int he Club locker room is the same for all members -- including students, $15 per month with a four-month commitment. This fee includes towel services. You can e-mail Rec Services directly at rec-services@uiowa.edu.
