hey im using a keyboard with a pitch bend wheel i wanna change the midi control prefrences so i can use the pitch wheel as a mod wheel to control some automated cutoff fx how can i do this with pro tools?

@GMAN1589 If you are going to use the sounds inside the synth; then you need to use the main outs from the keyboard into the mbox. The internal synth sounds are actual sound and not midi data. Record them in a standard audio track and not a midi track.

I HAVE A ROLAND JUNO DI AND AKAI PROFESSIONAL XR 20. IM USING PROTOOLS LE 8 WITH AVID M BOX MINI. MY M BOX DOES NOT HAVE MIDI INPUTS SO I HAVE MIDI TO USB STRAIGHT TO MY MAC. THE PROBLEM IS, HOW CAN I USE THE INSTRUMENTS INSIDE MY PIANO AND AKAI. AND WHAT TRACKS DO I USE TO RECORD THEM?

I'm trying to use my Mv 8800 to control the sound in my pro tools 9 i know it's possible but i cant figure this out. If there is a video or a step by step you can direct me to it would be a great help because i'm new to this and any help would be gladly helpful thank you to all that took the time to read.

is there a way to use xpand/vacuum and stuff like that with only a 1/4" coming from the keyboard?

i hear foriegn sounds on several tracks while trying to track out beats from my motif through midi with pro tools 7.1.. For example: i hear a synth sound under the snare every time the snare hits. same goes with my kicks and a host of other tracks now. Can someone please help me. Im bout to go crazy!!
