  • Yep, I think it senses a certain pressure and shuts off at that point.

I'm sure it has a breakaway feature just like gasoline pumps, for those who drive off without disconnecting the hose.

The pump itself is located in a corner of the Kansas Gas Service parking lot. No gates, no hassles, well lit, open 24/7, takes Visa & Mastercard for payment only.

  • @takhliwx The one I use is also self-serve. $7.00 to fill my Chevy Cavalier for 140 miles remains a sweet deal. I just wish I could fill more often as the only station is 80 mi. away....and the only time I fill up is when I visit my girlfriend.

  • i hope that in the future they'll be able to make the tanks smaller and more efficiant

  • Sort of surprising it's self serve. When i've fueled propane vehicles that's always done by an attendant - never self serve. Surprisingly ordinary looking pump - at least the readout and pump itself - the hoses are unique. Does it shut off at a certain pressure or how does it sense "full"?

Thanks for the vid. Is that facility open 24/7? That too is sort of surprising if so.
