Recipe: Fire Cracker Shrimp

The head of BD Mongolian Grill on Miller Road in Flint Township says the restaurant is making changes. Joshua Cross says for starters, its changing it's name, from "barbeque" to "grill". Cross says the company wants to emphasize healthier menu choices.

When he's not managing the restaurant, Cross is the wrestling coach for Lapeer West High School. So he knows all about healthy eating. He made firecracker chicken and shrimp on NBC 25 Today.

He says BD's is expanding his children's menu and other surprizes next month.

2oz of shrimp

2 oz of carrots

1 oz mushrooms

1oz pea pods

2 oz of pineapple

Topped with 2oz of chili garlic and 1 oz of lemon

This is 300 calories and can be served with a bed of brown rice
