I spent 10 days working with artist Roger Lee up in Lincolnshire, I had a great time and have compiled footage of us working with pictures I took around the artists house to try and convey the feeling of my time spent there.

  • You're right about the use of the water. Thanks for the comment.

  • were the larger masses folded and forge-welded onto the flatstock? maybe just welded in? i'd love to know if you upset them in??? nice work, and your forge is beautiful, i'd love to make one similar, i assume you made it.......anyways, great vid, nice work. greetings from canada....

  • Great soundtrack for a great artist.

  • I think this is really neat. I particularly enjoyed seeing the metal actually change under your direction, (the close up shots). Why the water? Does that keep the rod from twisting below? I know nothing about this particular art but the video was very interesting, and Roger and Carole look like really nice folk! Thanks for sharing!

  • Tom, what a beautiful film you made from my rambling camera! I was almost in tears at the end, seeing our house through your dark eyes. Somehow your evocative sound track captures the real essence of the moment, although I still can't see the images without the loud "ting ting" and Radio One ringing in my head! Keep creating, Carole

  • Congratulations Tom, thats a great record of your visit to Long Bennington in September.
