I try some old Kodak instant film in a 1980 Kodak Colorburst 100 camera. The camera and flash worked, but the film didn't develop well.

  • Hello,

why didn't you record till the end of developing, that we could see how the picture showing. It will be very interesting to see...

  • @Partizan43 It didn't develop any more - it stayed white!! (sad)

  • @Muirwoody - Well, that's realy sad. Tell me please...did you found this film in a camera open all this years or did you open an expired sealed package of instant film and take a photo? I asking you this, because if the film was in camera many years, it's dry...there will be no color showen, maibe some purple...but if you take from a sealed box, it's a lot of chance that it will came out very good and no mether if has expired 25 years ago...?

  • @Partizan43 I found the film you see in this video in another camera that had sat for many years. Eventually I bought a sealed pack of film ($15. expired 1982) and tried it. It took the entire box, but eventually I got a weak photo that was primarily a Magenta color on top. I used Photoshop to remove that tone and I could see a basic poor quality photo underneath. Too much work and money to try that again. Unless I can get free film.

  • Do you mind telling me the place you got the film from?

    i've been looking everywhere :|

  • @liveraat The one is this video I got with a box of a lot of old film supplies I bought from someone. Since then I've bought another box off eBay for about $16 including S + H, but it's usually more than that.

  • @Muirwoody - Well, maibe you have to try some another, but for free you will probably not get it... Today i got from USA 5 pack of this type of film PR144-10 for 5$ + the postage, but OK... and i will try to take some photos, when the weather will be beather. Maibe i will have more luck than you, if you wish you can send me your email and i will send you some photos...

  • @dutchtuner There is no new film. You can only buy expired film. I got an expired box (2/1984) today, but I'm not expecting much. I've heard there's a way to use a single sheet of Polaroid Image/Spectra/PZ600 film; expose it in the Kodak, put it back in the Polaroid cartridge/camera, shoot it with a "dark" 2nd shot in the Polaroid and let the photo come out and develop from the Polaroid - but I don't know the details.

  • and it's impossible to get new film right? I found one with a box and manual but I'm not buying untill I know if I can get film for it
