@geckosethpe I dont think I agree with you, would you rather have a proven superstar like Ovi (two-three years from now, he will be 28 or 29 I am not sure) or some kid who may or may not become good. I would pick skill and experience over potential, not saying that I would want potential, The key is having experience players who can teach your youth on the team. I am sure having datsyuk on your team makes everyone that much better because they can learn from him

They may have lost key players on thier team over the summer but i mean they still got great players like Toews, Kane, Hossa, Seabrook and Keith. With them the can win another Stanley Cup soon.

jberger73, the best thing about having young players that are good is that you can trade them for high value and with the way the blackhawks have been drafting, they can afford to lose some pieces after they win the cup. Thats what all great teams do, they build through the draft and they keep their team young.
