  • i work on all my cars myself too, but one question. i resently bought lowering springs on new struts, my car had cut springs when i purchaced. i put in lowering springs before on cars but never a 240sx. is it common to have to pry down on the lower control arm in the rear to fit the new assembly in its place? thanks.

  • @wht240sxka Yes, the oem arms have rubber bushings in them that need to be forced down to flex to get the struts in.

  • @mattyboi1 cool thanks matty. one more thing. once i got in the new struts in the rear and lowered the car down, the ride heidth is an inch different. any suggestions to whats wrong?

  • @wht240sxka hmmm.. i thought i replied to this. Anyway, one thing i would recommend checking is the lower spring perch, the spring has to sit is a pocket and the shock has a stop where the end of the spring should sit.

  • The Subframe is towards rear right

  • @skaterarod Im assuming this is a question but yes this is the rear subframe.
